Daniel Peter Vissers has been acting and singing for over 30 years and is a proud 25 year member of the Actor's Equity Association. Dan studied the Meisner Technique at The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in NYC and has appeared in over 100+ productions throughout NY, NJ and nationally.
Dan currently sings Lead for the world famous vocal group The Diamonds (33 appearances on American Bandstand, inducted into the Doo-wop hall of fame, 3 gold records). Please visit www.thediamonds.live for tour info.
Dan is the recipient of numerous recognitions/awards, including placing first overall at The Garden State Talent Expo (Garden State Arts Center, now The PNC Arts Center), where he tallied a perfect score from all 12 judges, a first for the competition.
Dan has performed at many amazing venues including BB King's Mainstage (Times Square, NY), CBGB's, Don't Tell Mama's, 54 Below, Times Scare NYC, Dillon's Reprise Room, Toshi's Living Room, The Town Hall (NYC), The Cherry Lane Theatre (NYC), as well as Surflight Theatre (LBI, NJ), The Garden State Arts Center, The NJ State Fair (Giants Stadium), The Count Basie Theatre (Red Bank, NJ) and The Strand Theatre (Lakewood, NJ).
Dan is currently Artistic Director and Co-founder of Pioneer Productions Company, Inc., a NJ based non-profit theatre co. founded in 2003. www.pioneerproductionscompany.org
